Nicéphore Niépce

Nicéphore Niépce
He was born on March 7, 1765 in Chalon-sur-Saôneand, Saône-et-Loire. He died July 5, 1833. He spent time in the military but was more interested with the idea of photography.

His is known for the invention of photography and taking the first picture ever in 1825 or 1827 no one knows for sure. This was the first camera obscura. It was taken out of Window at Le Gras in Saint-Loup-de-Varennes and was exposed for 8 hours.
